How we are working through the Coronavirus crisis

The pandemic has brought about significant changes in the way we work, just like the rest of the world.

How we are working through the Coronavirus crisis and the consequences of Coronovirus

At TECE, our first and foremost priority is the safety and wellbeing of our workforce and their families. Before accepting our employees to TECE premises, we make sure that they don't show symptoms (temperature control). And we implement contact tracing in case they contacted with an infected person, we give them 14-days off for self quarantine. During their time at TECE, social distancing and wearing protective gears are mandatory.

So far, everything has been going well at TECE. With the correct implementation of policies, we believe that we will go through this crisis as best as we can.

Future is bright

Even though the world has already suffered greatly with human losses, we will prevail in one way or another.

Humans are the only species that can live in every corner of the world. This shows one simple fact that we will soon adapt the requirements of coronavirus. This can be by social distancing, by wearing masks, gloves but we will prevail without question.

There is also a big challenge for businesses during this period because of the low demand. Just like everybody, we have to be patient as to see how the world will move forward with the ongoing situation. We have to remind ourselves that 'the world is going through one of the biggest crisis but there is light at the end of the tunnel and we have to be patient to see it'.

What we are doing at TECE

While we are implementing the necessary measurements against coronavirus, we are fully replying to demands of the market.

During this time, we are also working on the below:

  • Development of new Egger Collection
  • Development of some specialty edgebanding with special films.
  • Development of shelving system for edgebanding rolls.
  • Development of virtual TECE tours as it became clear that travel restriction will be in effect till beginning 2021. And we believe that no exhibitions will be held till that time. So, we have to adapt to the new realities.
  • And more…

We hope that one year from today, we will look at the past year and say ‘we can enjoy our regular lives again!'
