Hot melt is an important element during the processing of edgebanding. The wrong kind of hot melt, or low quality of hot melt can create disastrous results for the furniture maker. Our standard hot melt adhesives (THM 2042 or THM 506) work well in all sorts of edgebanding machines. Yet, we are now offering a new type of hot melt in which not only the adhesion will be good but also the glue line will be much less visible. The transparent hot melt adhesive is a material without any filler inside; thus, it is translucent adhesive. With this product, the glue line that exists between board and edgebanding will be much less visible (similar to the latest technology of laser or hot air).
