Before I visited Petra; I had heard many interesting stories that made me want to go there. Yet, when I arrived in Petra, I had wished that I had come here earlier. Petra is a fascinating ancient city and it is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Petra is famous for its rock-cut architecture. The city, built by Nabataean people, was a very important center for trade and culture at one point in history. The narrow valley that leads into the city gave the security that the people needed at that time. When visiting Petra, it is clear that if our humanity wants to do something, they can do anything no matter the time or technology. I will now leave you with some photos that I took during the trip.
