On February 6th, 2023, Turkey was devastated by earthquakes of magnitudes that our country has never experienced before. The loss of life has been tragic, and the affected regions, which stretch over 500km, have been left devastated.

The earthquake disaster has affected almost 13 million lives. The loss of loved ones, destruction of homes, and psychological effects of the disaster are indescribable.

We know that our country will heal from these losses over time, and we pray that we will overcome these difficulties together. Moreover, we will take the lessons learned and make necessary constructions to avoid such tragedies in the future.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to all foreign support, aid, and rescue teams that were there to help us. It reminded the world that we can forget our differences and help each other in times of need.
