Changing ERP is one of the most difficult tasks for a company of our size where we have a multitude of data. When we decided to go with SAP in August 2017, we were committed and convinced that with this new ERP system, we will be better to serve our customers worldwide. Yet, the objective of our management was set very clear: during the go-live period (transition period), the customers should not feel the transition or face any delay in their delivery. And thanks to our dedicated TECE team and SAP consulting firm, we turned off our old EPR system on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 and started with SAP on Monday, October 1st, 2018. Keeping our flexibility in place, SAP was implemented in every department at TECE. We believe that with this investment, we are now more up to date and effective towards all our stakeholders. The improvements are already made for below points: Total production controlTotal quality control Precise production information based on previous dataPrecise costing information Precise delivery timesA state of art datacenter where will hold all our data. And in the year 2019, we are going to integrate a portal where our customers can place an order, hold stock, check stock and more. We believe that moving to SAP ERP system was a major milestone in TECE history. Also with this implementation, we will be much more effective and we will enable our distributors around the world to be more effective in this competitive market.
