How to work with Tece PMMA Edgebanding
PMMA is a very special polymer and it requires extra care during the processing. If the result is not good enough, check the following:
- Trimming / End cutting: Knives should be positioned correctly; have to be sharp. Check the tension of end cutting to avoid cracking.
- In too cold weather (10° or lower), preheat the board and edgebanding to have better result.

Characteristics
Chemical: The elasticity of the product has been improved with plasticizers and the product has high impact resistance made from totally polymerized PMMA material.

Available sizes
The width of the edge banding can changed based on the customer demand (such as 23mm, 33mm, 42mm, 44mm or etc). The thickness is available in 1mm. The standard length of 1 mm thickness PVC roll is 150 mt.

Packaging
Dimension of the box changes as the width of the product changes. The standard box dimensions are here below.

The boxes come on pallets. On a pallet, there can be 48 boxes.
Storage
The recommended storage temperature is between 18° and 25 °C, proper dry conditions. The product should be used up to 24 months after production date.
Safety instructions
During the processing, the workers should wear eye protection and careful with the cutters. The material can be recycled by the professional plastic recycling companies.
