Let's Discover What's Inside TECE Plastic Edgebanding
Edgebanding is a profile in dimensions of 22 mm x 0.4mm or 2mm x 22mm, or any other dimension. However, the contents of the product are much more complicated than one might think.

Let's explore each layer of the product:

Bottom Layer: Primer - This is the bottom part of the product and the most important part, as without it, the edge banding is just basic plastic. Any incorrect application will result in wasted furniture. At TECE, we only source products from reputable brands with extensive experience, as experience is everything in products like this.

Second Layer: Plastic - The ingredients of this layer determine the final quality of the product, such as flexibility, resistance to heat/cold, and a uniform finish to the panel. The quality and price of edgebanding are mainly determined by this layer. It consists of more than 10 items for PVC, fewer for ABS and hybrid, and each adds to or reduces the cost. At TECE, we strive to produce the best quality in both health and price and never compromise by producing a low-quality or unhealthy product. It's also important to choose the right texture on this layer, to create a uniform edgebanding with the panel and replicate the finish of the panel.

Third Layer: Printing - This is where our experience shines. The matching quality and consistency of colors are visible in this layer. Our UV printing inks are of the highest quality in terms of color fastness and stability.

Final Layer: Coating (for wood/HG colors) - This layer protects the edgebanding against scratches and impacts. Our experience has taught us that it's important to only work with reputable suppliers, even if it means paying more. Our UV coating system will match the gloss level of your panels and protect the product as it should.

In conclusion, all of the above highlights the importance of experience in production. The edgebanding may seem simple, but it consists of many components and is produced in a complicated process. Although it may only account for 2% of your spending on furniture, a wrong choice can reduce the quality of your home. At TECE, with our ingredients, primer, inks, and coatings, we aim to produce healthy, quality products for all markets to create uniform furniture.
