Traveler of lost city: THE GREAT MIGRATION
Africa is the innocent child of our green planet; Africa is the mysteries continent of adventurers and travelers.
The continent of Africa has so many unique features that she has been the ultimate destination of travel lovers. And this time, I had the pleasure of visiting Masai Mara - Kenya during the important season of the year; to witness the great migration of animals from one part of the continent to here; to witness a crowd of wild animals organizing themselves so well that they move all together to avoid death. All kinds of animals (wildebeests, zebras and buffalos) are spread over all Masai Mara during the migration. And stronger species (Tigers, lions, crocodiles, and etc) are also trying to take advantage of this migration by attaching the weaker animals of buffalo, zebra, etc. This natural phenomenon must be seen at least once in a lifetime; to witness the flawless creation of our Creator.
During the witnessing of the great migration in Masai Mara, the most difficult part for animals was to pass through the rivers; the crocodiles were waiting for their hunts to fall into their hands. They had so many options as all sorts of animals (wildebeest, Zebra, and Buffalo) had to pass cross the river. The weaker animals (deer, zebra, and buffalo) had to make special organization to avoid the loss at the minimum level; they must move in big groups. If a buffalo acts alone, it would be extinguished within minutes. Because wild life has no mercy; the stronger one has to eat up the weaker one.
More than 2 million animals participate in this migration.
I will leave you now with some of my photos which I took during my trip to Masai Mara during the Great Migration time!
Enjoy them…
