It has been many years since we have been participating in Furnica Fair in Poznan. This year was different from other years because we were there with our staff from the same city of Poznan.
During the fair, we welcomed visitors from all over Poland. We presented our Kronospan, Swiss Krono, and Egger collection during the fair. We like to thank all who visited our fair during the show.

About Our Support for the Special Project at Furnica

On 12-15 September, the International Fair of Machines and Tools for the Wood and Furniture Industry DREMA 2017 was held in Poznań. Visitors to the Poznań International Fair were able to observe the Living Furniture Factory co-organized by the Faculty of Wood Technology, Poznan University of Life Sciences in Drema for Children and seniors. The aim of the annual action is to present modern solutions to the construction and technology of furniture production with charitable support for the needy children and the elderly. Students of Furniture Design, under the direction of Dr Eng. Krzysztof Wiaderek designed furniture for children and seniors, developed their design and production technology and created them. A group of 27 WTD students, assisted by 14 foreign students from Latvia, Estonia, Germany and Norway, participated in the production of furniture as part of the BaltSe@nioR project. Thanks to the persistent work and commitment of the students, a 100% production plan was implemented, which included the production of over 50 furniture during 4 trade fair days. The showroom furniture has left 10 sets of children's furniture, including a bed with a mattress, a desk, a closet and a wardrobe. The production also made furniture for seniors: 5 beds with electric tilt adjuster, 5 night cabinets and two showcase wardrobes with solutions for the elderly. The furniture was delivered to Caritas Archdiocese of Poznan and then to two selected children's homes and one senior home.

Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the Live Furniture Industry with the realization of the BaltSe@nioR project was held under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Development.
