Traveler of Lost City: Bologna
Italy has always been on the top of my favorite places. It might be because of her vast history or maybe her culture. In the previous posts, I had share photos from Rome and some other places in Italy; in this post, I will share photos from Bologna. Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagna Region in Italy, is full of history. In this great city, everything that you touch goes back to several centuries. We can feel this history when going through the streets of Bologna. Sometimes, I wish that I could go back in time and see how this city looks like 300 years back. Yet, I feel that it would not be so different than what it is today; only change would be the people's clothes and horses instead of cars. In Bologna center, every building, every sculpture is a piece of art. God knows how many workers it took to build one of these building; how much effort was put in. Today, in our modern advanced age, things are much simpler, much easier. We have access to unlimited resources as long as we have the money. The world has changed for the better in one sense; for the worse in the other sense. For better, everybody has a chance to live a good life; for the worse, we are consuming world resources at an unimaginable speed. Scientists are not sure if the world will be the same in 100 year or even the humanity can survive in another few centuries. Only our Creator, God, know this. But let's pray for the best. At this moment, I stop writing and let you to view few photos that I took during my short trip to Bologna. Enjoy... [widgetkit id=211]
