Pre-Heat Your Panel Edges in Cold Environments
In winter months or in production facilities without climate control, cold panel surfaces cause adhesive to set too quickly before the bond is fully formed. Simply passing a heat gun over the panel edge for 5–6 seconds before feeding dramatically improves adhesion, especially for PVC edgebanding on MDF panels. This is especially relevant for customers in Northern Europe and high-altitude facilities.
