Traveler of Lost City: Hiking the Lycian Way

Traveler of Lost City: Hiking the Lycian Way
Turkey has been the center of many of the world's great civilizations. In this long period of time, people developed paths to reach from one point to another. We are talking about 2000 years back; there is no concept of hiking for adventure. There is concept of hiking for survival and transporting. One of these important paths was Lycian Way. The Lycian Way is one of the world's great long-distance hiking trails in Antalya, Turkey. It is considered in one of the most important trails in the world. In this edition of Traveler of Lost City, I wanted to share my short experience in this trail. The total length of trail is about 540km, which can take about 30 days to complete. I hiked only 60km of this trails in 3 days. It was one of the best experiences I ever had. I had the chance to live through the experience of those who lived before us; the difficulty of climbing, difficulty of walking through non-paved roads, and enjoyment of seeing the natural beauty behind a hill. If you feel young enough, and if you have desire to experience history, get in touch a tour organizer and do this hiking tour. It is a great experience for those who enjoy walking, and nature. And now I will share some photos that I took during my 3 day-tour. The photos were taken with my mobile phone. Enjoy the photos and enjoy the life ahead of you.
